cranberriestourFirst The Pixies, then The Breeders, tons of awesome alternative bands from the past are getting back together. And if you haven’t already heard the news via Dolores O’Riordan’s website, the quintessential 90s alt band The Cranberries are re-joining after 7 years for a reunion tour scheduled to begin November 12th in Baltimore.

O’Riordan recently  cancelled her tour promoting her latest solo album No Baggage with little explaniation, and shortly there after broke news of the renuion with her former band mates.

“We will be writing new songs and performing tracks off my new album as well as our greatest hits during the shows. I’d love to see you out there,” says O’Riordan.
So far there’s no word if The Cranberries will be a permanent mainstay in todays musical community, or just a nostaglic get together, but for the next month does it even really matter? I mean, The flipping Cranberries are back together!
