We’ve all heard (or at least heard of) Mel Gibson’s infamous verbal abuse tapes circulating the media and internet for the past few weeks. Though we’re not one to comment on tabloid-ish related issues, no one, inclusive of Mr. Gibson’s wife Oksana Grigorieva, ever deserves to be on the receiving end of such nauseating domestic abuse, verbal or physical. It wasn’t until we saw a post from Gawker that finally gleamed somewhat of a silver lining for Grigorieva’s future. Oksana is an aspiring singer, and actually recorded an album that was released in late 2009 on Gibson’s record label (which we can’t seem to find any information on). The album is currently out of stock on Amazon. Gibson also directed her in this video for song “Beautiful Heartache” which you can watch below. Although it’s bittersweet to support music or video associated with the alleged abuser, it’s also proof that Grigorieva may well have a musical future far away and nothing to do with Mr. Gibson. And in the words of Gawker:

“If it’s any comfort, these images probably haunt Mel’s nightmares: His “bitch, cunt, whore” ex-girlfriend surviving his every attempt to destroy her.”

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Oksana, if you see this, call us when you’re working on your next album, we’d love to support.
