With only 24 days till CMJ 2010, New York City’s largest and most influential music festival, RockHer is getting a little too excited about the events to come. With the second round of artists recently announced, and nearly 1,200 performances to be scheduled over 5 days, CMJ is one of the music industry’s biggest events of the year.  Here’s our list of events that we’re anxiously awaiting:

  1. Corin Tucker Band! We couldn’t be more thrilled and excited to learn that after 4 years away from the musical spotlight, Sleater-Kinney alum Corin Tucker will be showcasing tunes off her new band’s album 1,000 Years at this year’s CMJ. By the sounds of the album’s recently released single Doubt (get it here free!), we predict Tucker’s fans (including yours truly) will not be disappointed. Is this a sign Tucker’s inching closer towards a Sleater-Kinney reunion?
  2. Beyond Stellar Female Artist Line-up!
